Four marketing assets your Shopify store should have to perform optimally

When it comes to marketing your Shopify store, you should have at least 4 assets in place:

  1. A stable free/low-cost traffic source.
  2. An additional traffic source that is under development to become profitable or scale.
  3. Simple email list that you contact all subscribers at least once per month.
  4. A series of emails or phone calls to contact new customers.

All four are important to have. Missing one will leave a large gap in your store's performance.

You can have multiples (e.g. three stable low-cost traffic sources) and other assets (e.g. social media strategy) but save those until these core four are in place and working.
