Last weekend I noticed the rainy season was starting soon so I took 15 minutes to clean out our gutters.
There wasn't much in there because the trees haven't started to drop much yet. Mostly blown debris from spring and summer. There was enough to slow down the flow though.
Even with that cleaning I'll still have to do another after fall. I'd rather do two minor cleanings then to have the gutters fail and need to do an emergency cleaning in the rain.
Done that before.
Not fun.
Would not recommend.
It's almost always better to do a little preventive maintenance before things get busy. That could be inventory counts, reorganizing the warehouse, or even refreshing your mailing lists.
Whatever you can to help things run a bit smoother.
Directive: Do a little maintenance work often, before it gets backed up.
