Use samples to get a repeat customer to buy again

Once piece of advice I often give stores is to add samples of their other products to an order.

For example, if someone orders a soy protein shake mix you'd add in a single serving packet of pea protein. Or if someone orders a bunch of high-end shirts, you add in a scarf that uses the same material as a jacket.

The point is to get your customers to see, touch, or taste other products you offer without having to convince them to take a risk by ordering them. Evaluating a sample is easier than learning about it online.

It works well for some products (food, clothing, toys) but others require some creativity (electronics, entertainment).

It works best if you can find out which products are enjoyed the most by customers. Those are not necessarily your best selling product either. You want products that customers rave about and get hooked on. Products like the one highlighted in the First Product Analysis inside of Repeat Customer Insights.

Find a way to include a sample of those in your orders, track how later orders perform, and you might find an easier way to secure repeat customer orders in your Shopify store.
