Americans say they're holding firm on holiday shopping - the season starts now

Shopify's released more survey results, this time about the 2023 holiday season. They found the majority of shoppers plan to spend the same or more on gifts this year. The unstated part is how much are only spending more due to price increases vs actual behavior changes.

Time will tell how the survey results compare to reality.
